How leasing works

Four steps, and most people finish them in two days

Boarding house agreements in NSW are simpler than a residential tenancy. Here is the whole process, in order.

Step 1

Pick a room

Choose from the vacancy board, or ask the assistant what fits your budget and the area you need.

Step 2

Inspect it

Book a walkthrough with the house manager, in person or over video. Same day where the room is empty.

Step 3

Sign the agreement

Photo ID, an income or study reference, and the standard NSW occupancy agreement, signed online.

Step 4

Collect your key

Pay two weeks' bond and the first week's rent, then pick up your key from the house manager.
